Physical DescriptionPink, opaque white, colorless probably non-lead glasses, polychrome enamel; mold-blown, tooled, enameled, gilded, applied decoration. Shallow circular bowl with tooled, ruffled edge. Upper surface is pink; lower surface white, edge of rim colorless. Glass has been blown in a diamond-patterned mold but pattern is scarcely discernible beneath the heavy scrollwork of enameling and gilding and the three-dimensional silver acorns. Polished pontil mark on base has inscription, "D180/132/MOSER." in gilt. Silver-plated basket has four feet, a round rim to hold base of bowl and a handle which arches overhead and is decorated with silver leaves. Silver is marked "BARBOUR SILVER CO/QUADRUPLE PLATE/262".Provenance
