Physical DescriptionCongratulations Beaker. Colorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Ovoid, panel- cut form; cut rim; raised oval panels on the sides, each with engraved symbol and inscription: chalice, cross, grapes, and "Glaube"; anchor and "Hoffnung"; torch and arrows, and "u:Liebe"; serpent entwined around a staff and a cup, and "Gesundheit"; a cornucopia of fruit, and "Gluck"; musical instruments, and "u=Freude"; and a plain oval panel; flared foot, panel-cut; the flat bottom of the foot with cut square panels of cross-cutting, alternating with octagonal raised tables with cut radial grooves.Provenance
