Physical DescriptionColorless; cast, cut and polished. Vase: conical. Rim plain, ground and polished; wall tapers to mid-point and then straightens; plain flat base. Interior surface curves inward to rounded floor, below which bottom one-third of vessel is solid. Exterior decorated with eight identical, vertical, wheel-cut grooves extending from 4 cm below rim to base; these are narrow and shallow at top, and broad and deep at bottom with truncated V-shaped cross-section. Rectangular paper label on outside immediately below lip: "Lobmeyr" reserved in black rectangle with narrow black frame, all on gold-to-silver background.
