two very similar continuous registers consisting of five palmettes with inverted triangles in spaces between them; each palmette is linked to its neighbors by suspended arcs. Palmettes, triangles, and arcs have broad, hatched outlines, and palmettes have incised details. Below each palmette in lower register, one tearshaped motif. Rib at bottom of wall is notched. On underside of base: four equidistant triangles, similar to those on wall, with apexes toward center, where they touch countersunk, slightly concave circle (D. 1.8 cm), which probably removed pontil mark.
