Physical DescriptionCanes of opaque white, opaque red, opaque yellow, opaque medium green, translucent deep blue, translucent medium blue and translucent bluish-green and colorless glass, pitted, slightly weathered on some surfaces; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. Fragment preserves segment of a snake body with long parallel scales on underside in multiple colors predominantly opaque white and greyish-white canes cased on three sides with green, yellow-green, yellow and red in a random fashion, the upper portion of the snake delineated in blue scales cased with yellow, on the opposite side a flat strip of deep blue and colorless glass form a backing strip.
