Physical DescriptionOpaque light blue non-lead (?) glass; blown, cut. (a) Cylindrical form; sides with a band of diamonds near the rim, above a band of vertical flat flutes, and a band of diamonds, extending 3/4 way around, stopping at vertical cut prismatic ribs, at either side of a panel-cut, applied loop handle, with cut thumb-rest at top; ground, concave base, with remains of rough pontil mark. (b) Reel-shape finial, with cut star on top; domed form with rounded flange and inset, tapered rim; the top cut with prismatic rings at base of finial, and a band of diamonds; notched flange.
