Physical DescriptionOpalescent white non-lead glass; blown, enameled, gilt. (a) Exaggerated true baluster shape, with cylindrical, slightly spreading neck; rounded shoulders, and bulbous sides; enameled black border, with slanting bands alternating with sets of four dashes; enameled black stylized floral sprays on the sides, with two tiny flowers highlighted with small gold leaf squares at the centers; applied S-shaped spout, with enameled black stylized flower at the base; applied loop handle with curled lower terminal; trailed foot rim; rough pontil mark. (b) Domed shape, with folded rim and tapered brim; black enameled floral wreath on the dome and dashes on the rim; conical applied finial; pontil mark inside.
