Physical DescriptionTransparent green over colorless; both with very few small bubbles. Blown, applied or cased; relief-cut. Fragment of vessel. Wall (TTh. 0.2–0.4 cm) is straight and probably vertical. Decorated in green relief (Th. 0.1 cm): part of standing bird, facing right, but with head turned, looking to left; neck and body are solid green, with one vertical cut on neck and three horizontal cuts at junction of neck and body; proper left wing is triangular and shown extended, with parallel cuts indicating plumage; proper left wing is lanceolate and shown almost folded, with cuts to indicate plumage and shallow curving cut to separate it from body; tail is forked; legs are long and curved, and stand on short horizontal bar that represents either ground or feet. Colorless glass around lower legs and tail has been removed to depth of up to 0.2 cm.
