Physical DescriptionAlmost colorless, with greenish tinge; many bubbles. Blown; linear-cut. Cup with squat globular body. Rim broad and flaring, with plain lip; neck straight and tapering; footring made by folding; pontil mark. Linear-cut decoration on neck and wall. On neck (from top to bottom): (1) horizontal band that stops on either side of handle; (2) two rows of contiguous arcs defining band of nine diamond-shaped panels, each with lattice motif; (3) space filler; and (4) border line. On wall: frieze that stops on either side of handle; double border lines above, two pairs of border lines separated by short horizontal and transverse strokes below; main motifs are row of four crosshatched centers, each within diamond. Marked on either side by two half-palmettes on same stem.
