Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, (a) has slight amethyst tint; blown, cut, engraved. (a) Double form, with two vessels formed as one; tapered form, with spreading body, sloping sides, tapered neck; two ground openings in the top; trailed and diamond-faceted oval neck ring; cut panels on the neck, with cut notches; band of engraved stylized flowers; well-engraved depiction of a woman, leaning on an urn, engraved "BD" on the plinth, with flowers alongside, engraved crowned script monogram "CJ" on the reverse, cut flutes at the base; flat bottom with polished pontil mark. (b,c) Flat forms, one side cut flat, the remaining sides rounded and with cut rounded facets; tapered, ground shanks.
