Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Cylindrical, straight-sided form, slightly incurved at the rim, and flared foot; polished faceted decoration, with two rows of oval facets at the rim, oval radial facets around a circular panel on the front, with engraved depiction of a saint holding a crucifix and a palm frond, inscribed "S'.IOHAN/NES.NEPOM.C.N"; slanted oval facets at either side of the engraved panel, with square panels containing stylized flowers composed of facets; panel cutting at the base and on the foot; radial oval facets on the bottom, with a concave polished pontil mark in the center; applied "C" strap handle, crimped at the top for a cover hinge.
