Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, enameled. Tapered, straight- sided, circular form; the sides with yellow, blue, white, and green enamel decoration, a foliate border, above a band containing thirteen coats of arms of Cantons of Switzerland, and on the front, another coat of arms above a weaver's (?) guild symbol, inscribed "ILE" and "VE", with flowers and foliage above and at the sides; inscription on the reverse, below the shields, and the date "1763"; base with rough pontil mark.
