Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, enameled. Shouldered, tapered shape with long, narrow neck spreading slightly toward the lip; enameled rose-purple and white border at the lip of repeated ovals and a white band; enameled figure of a man in a purple frock-coat, blue breeches, white stockings, black shoes and hat, with his left arm outstretched, pointing, holding a cane in his right hand; trees at either side, ground below; on the reverse two bunches of polychrome enamel flowers, including roses, etc.; nearly flat base with rough pontil mark; circular printed paper label inscribed "THE ROYAL SCOTTISH MUSEUM/ART & ETHNOGRAPHY/ 1873/23/318" on bottom.Provenance
