Physical DescriptionCylindrical body with concave base and very rough pontil mark, restored applied pewter foot ring; overall enameling consists of a black eagle with double head of the "Holy Roman Empire", with a blue and golden sceptre with golden double cross on its breast, each of the heads having a crown, and with outspread wings covered with the coat-of-arms of all parts of the Empire (Quaternionen Wappen); below rim a gilded band consisting of large white dots, followed by groups of diagonal dotted lines in white and blue, two dotted rings in white and blue, and finally followed by the inscription in white: "DAS - HEILIG - ROMISCH - REICH - MIT - SAMPT - SEINEN - GLIEDERN -" (The holy Roman Empire with all its parts); between the ends of the wings the date: "1-5-9-3".Provenance
