Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, carved, sandblasted; metal fabrication, anodized to give pink and blue appearance. Rectangular shape; one piece of colorless glass carved in three horizontal waves, beveled edges, overall matte surface except for small equilateral triangle with beveled edges and polished surface standing in relief at top edge (appearing blue), just to the left of center; two sides of triangle are framed by larger undecorated triangular surface that reaches into upper two-thirds of brooch, remainder of surface decorated with narrow rows of staggered dot patterning; glass faces silver surface anodized blue under the two triangular areas, and pink on remaining surface; solid silver rectangular backing with mottled surface, horizontal pin with catch; impressed on backing on block letters: "FRIEDLICH/1990 c (copyright logo)/STERLING/18K".Provenance
