Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, blown-molded, cut, engraved. (a) Four-lobed, tapered, straight-sided bowl, waisted at the base; covered with engraving of urns of flowers, scrollwork, foliage, and with panels at the front and back, one with two clasping hands above a heart surmounted by a numeral "3", and inscribed "Als bey freuen freunden leben", and on the other an altar bearing two burning hearts, inscribed "nichts vergenugffers ist auf er den"; panel-cut at the base; stem composed of two mereses above a facet-cut inverted baluster with basal collar; cut polygonal foot with a ring of cut facets on the underside; and a border of engraved triangles. (b) Four- lobed, domed shape, with inset brim; engraved flowers and foliage; panel-cut top; facet-cut ovoid finial on an angular merese.
