(a) Barrel shape; ground lip, screw threads on neck, mold seam on each side; obverse embossed: "MASON'S/PATENT/NOV. 30TH/1858" with Hero cross bearing HFJ Co. monogram above "MASON"; base embossed "PAT NOV 26 67" in a circle. (b) Zinc cap with pressed opaque white lines, embossed "BOYDS GENUINE PORCELAIN LINED CAP".
