Physical DescriptionTransparent yellow lead glass; blown, cut, diamond-point engraved. Shallow circular plate with upturned rim, edge ground and polished flat; plate decorated on exterior with four cut geometric heads of wheat stalks formed of paired V-cuts (at far left is a single head, right half of plate with group of three heads descending in size from tallest in center of plate), remaining surface covered in fine scratched decoration of grasses and daisy-like flowers on "hairy" stems; scattered bubbles, no pontil; unsigned.Provenance
