Interpretive Notes
This piece is one of several similar pieces attributed to the Bakewell factory.
Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Cylindrical shape, engraved below the rim with a rose vine and leaves and an empty oval probably intended for a monogram, above an engraved band of crosses, above a row of cross-hatched diamonds, above a row of finger flutes, eight pointed star on base.
