Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; mold-blown, tooled, acid-etched, enameled, gilded. (a) Base. Inverted trumpet-shaped hollow form cupped at top with turned-over rim sheared into crenellations, flat base with polished pontil mark; entire surface satin-finished with acid, top and base rim gilded, enameled blue and green foliate in sides with two flying ducks near lower wide part of base, gilded feathery star-like ornaments around top and base, "2657" acid-etched on pontil mark. (b) Font: mold-blown cylindrical container with a bulbous top section having a rim of molded blossoms, fits into upper "cup" of base; acid-etched surface, flowers painted blue and gilded. Brass collar affixed with plaster, screw-in burner with a tubular wick, wick raiser marked 'THE P. & A. MFG CO/VICTOR". (c) Globe: spherical shape, open at top and bottom; acid etched surface, blue and green enameled foliate, gilded feathery star-like ornaments, 3 flying ducks in shades of brown' "2002" in red on lower rim. (d) cylindrical colorless chimney with a narrow waisted section near lower end.
