Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, gold decoration; yellow metal plate, black plastic; mold-blown by machine, screen printed; bulbous shape; flared rim with machine finished edge and pinched lip, rim angled so lip at tallest side; short cylindrical neck with metal band around it, "3612" stamped into one end of band; handle opposite lip, angled out ovoid shape, attached to neck by metal band and screws; cover of carafe attached to top of handle near rim, fits over mouth of carafe, is slightly dished in; body of carafe flared out from neck then rounded in to base, stylized gold stars of various sizes printed around circumference of body except below handle, "PYREX®/MADE IN U. S. A. " printed to right of handle near top of body, "8/6/4" printed on carafe to left of handle; flat circular base.Provenance
