Physical DescriptionPuff Box and Lid in "Odd" Pattern. Colorless glass; blown, cut. Cylindrical shape with separate cylindrical cover having a short stem and low bulbous knob with a cut star on top. Cylindrical dish with cut and polished rim and shoulder for rim of cover; cut pattern on dish and cover consists of a row of octagonal stars alternating with horizontal notches; cut star on bottom of ground and polished base. Both base and cover have acid-stamped trademarks of the trefoil enclosing a fleur-de-lis and two hawks with the name HAWKES underneath.
