Physical DescriptionFragment of a Floral Plaque. Translucent greyish medium blue matrix with assorted canes of opaque red, opaque yellow, opaque white, translucent green, translucent yellow-green and translucent pale amethyst glass; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. Similar to 51.1.232 C, preserves irregular rounded edge, two wide rectangles of light green with many bubbles and striations as backing, tooling marks evident. Surface retains portion of one circular fruit and pendant grape cluster as well as radiating yellow stalks with blue-green and green leaves; on each side of the stalk is small star-like flower with green center and red dots with six pointed white leaves, below near fruit two heart-shaped leaves, tips in yellow, centers in white, edge in red.Provenance
