Physical DescriptionColorless and opaque white lead glass; blown, engraved. Bell bowl, with engraved scene of a man and woman sitting at a table, the woman with a bag of coins scattered before her, her feet on two more money bags, are inscribed "500," the other "300," with another standing alongside; the man holding a bottle in one hand, and a drinking glass in the other; both seated in ladder-back chairs, on a cross-hatched carpet with fringe, and with handled vases of flowers at either side; inscribed above man "ICK HEB GOEDT / EN EEN MOEDT" and, above the woman "ICK HEB MOEDT / EN GEEN GOEDT"; between an angel holding a banner inscribed "DOET HET GELYK / Z-O SYDT GY / EEVEN RYCK"; composite stem consisting of two ball knops, one of them hollow, above a tall inverted baluster enclosing a multi-ply spiral cable; domed foot; rough pontil mark.
