Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, stained, engraved. Shallow, circular shape with upcurved sides and shallow well; the rim cut in a series of rounded petals; the underside of the sides cut in a series of three bands of cross-cut square panels; cut groove above a band of polished rectangular panels; the well is of stained yellow on the inside, and engraved on the reverse with the figure of a seated woman holding a shield and presenting swords to soldiers, inscribed in Cyrillic below ("People's Volunteer Corps") and dated "1812".
