Physical DescriptionTurquoise glass ground, inlaid with canes of translucent yellow-green and amethyst, heavily pitted surface, some devitrification, light brown weathering product all over; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. Roughly triangular fragment of a plate or plaque with scale pattern of a fish in yellow-green, possibly fin sections defined by long amethyst lines above and below, a contrasting scale pattern appears to have been more heavily weathered perhaps an opaque white or an opaque yellow.
