Physical DescriptionSquare canes of translucent deep blue and opaque yellow alternate to form a checkerboard pattern, each blue square contains a large star cane of triangular opaque white and colorless separated by the thin translucent blue arms while the opaque yellow squares are filled with rows of three and four smaller squares of opaque red with smaller translucent blue-green centers, dull on all sides; mosaic glass or millefiori technique, fire-polished on both surfaces. Rounded rim bends in gently to form a deep convex profiled bowl.Provenance
