Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; gold decoration; brass plated metal, black plastic; mold-blown by machine, screen printed; a) conical shape; flared rim with machine finished edge and pinched lip; metal band around neck; handle opposite lip, is upside down "L" shape with turned in end, attached to neck by metal band; body of carafe rounded and tapered out to bottom, bottom rounded in to base; gold stylized flower design on two sides of body, stylized leaf design on body below lip, "PYREX®/MADE IN U. S. A. " and "10/8/6/4" printed on body to left of handle; flat circular base; b) circular cover; tall knob with rounded in sides, base of knob tapered out to cover; cover slightly dished in, raised rim; cylindrical insert on underside of cover, insert has three raised bumps; screw in center of underside; notch in one side of cover/insert.
