Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass with faint green tint; blown, engraved. Large, ovoid bowl, with engraved decoration on the sides, St. George slaying the dragon on one side, Hercules slaying the Nemean Lion on the other, a large bushy tree dividing the scenes on one side, three trees dividing the scenes on the other side; tall stem composed of three mereses above a hollow flattened ball knop, above three mereses, a hollow inverted baluster, flared at the base, and four mereses; large circular foot with folded rim, and engraved foliate wreath engraved on the underside; rough pontil marks inside the bowl and underneath the foot.
