Physical DescriptionClear glass with minute bubbles; free-blown and cut, with sandwiched enameled gold- and silver-leaf decoration ("Zwischengold glas"). Spreading foot with slight pontil mark, stemmed inverted baluster stem surmounted by a solid flattened and cushioned knop, deep funnel bowl; bowl is paneled except for bottom, knop and upper baluster are faceted, lower baluster is paneled, ring of ovals alternating with notches on foot; bowl walled and cemented below rim - with rim section belonging to inner bowl -, containing a bear hunt with two hunters (one mounted on a horse), three dogs and one bear in multicolored (red, green, brown) enamel on silver-foil, gold foil ornamental border below rim, acanthus wreath around lower bowl and a square formed by acanthus and central checker board motif at bottom of bowl.
