Physical DescriptionClear glass with a few bubbles; free-blown and engraved. Round funnel bowl resting on a large knop which in turn surmounts a large sphere onto which the glass cannot stand; the engraved decoration consists on the bowl of a wreath surrounded by tendrils and flower sprays, enclosing the initials "A.L." and surmounted by a crown; on the reverse a mirror monogram also framed in a wreath and surmounted by a crown; below rim is the inscription: "ICH DENCK MIRS" (I thought so); the decoration on the sphere shows again two tendril wreaths surrounded by a scroll, about five curving tendrils and floral sprays, one containing a roughly engraved man walking to the left and holding a glass, the other shows a woman holding a bar or screw- like object in both hands; above the woman is the inscription: "KRACK", above the man "KRICK"; at the bottom and engraved rosette.
