Physical DescriptionCandelabrum, "Pájaro Rubio (Red Bird)". Blown and flameworked colorless borosilicate glass, gold, purplish red, green, and yellow luster; metal base. A glass candelabrum (a) on a circular metal base (b). Candelabrum consists of a central colorless glass rod with green, yellow and red lustered knops. Connected to the central rod are six curving colorless glass rods (three on each side) curving downwards, with mirrored red luster covering half of each. Above these curving rods are two colorless glass rods extending straight out to the sides, each mounted with one glass candle cup. A single stylized glass bird, covered with red luster, is mounted to the central rod above these candle cup rods. On top of the bird is a green lustered knop and a colorless glass tube filled with dried rose buds.Provenance
