Physical DescriptionColorless, with very small bubbles. Blown and relief-cut. Beaker shaped like truncated cone. Rim plain, with rounded lip and bevel on inside; wall tapers. Decorated in relief with horizontal frieze defined at top and bottom by continuous ribs about 2.0 and 8.0 cm below rim. Frieze contains three very similar animals running from right to left. Each animal has head apparently shown frontally, but rest of body in profile; head is oval, with two eyes represented by countersunk dots; neck is straight at back, but widens at front and merges with chest; body is relatively short; both front legs, one of which is raised, point forward, while single hind leg extends backward; tail curves, is raised, and it terminates in palmette with five leaves. Head and feet are hatched with short cuts, neck and body have small circular depressions, and some outlines are notched.Provenance
