Physical DescriptionPreserving Jar, Sealing Ring and Cap. Aquamarine, opaque white non-lead glasses; mold-blown, pressed. Barrel shape; with ground lip, screw threads on neck, mold seam on each side, obverse embossed: "MASON'S/PATENT/NOV. 30TH/1858" with Hero cross below "MASON'S"; base embossed "PAT NOV 26 67" in a circle around "740"; red rubber sealing ring; zinc cap with pressed white glass liner embossed: "BOYD'S GENUINE PORCELAIN LINED" around a Hero cross lettered HFJ Co. in the arms.
Provenance
