Non-lead glass, deep wine color; blown-molded; wide flattened ellipsoid body, cylindrical neck, plain lip; on each side, oval panel with relief decoration -- on one, the inscription "THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY" arching above classical profile bust of Washington with queue and facing left; on reverse, inscription "GEN. TAYLOR NEVER SURRENDERS" arching above profile bust of Taylor facing left, and above the panel, the inscription "DYOTTVILLE GLASS WORKS PHILAD.A; smooth base.
