Physical DescriptionClear and transparent blue heavy glass with few bubbles; free- blown, cased and cut. (a) Pear-shaped body with slender cylindrical, at top hexagonal neck, interrupted by a flat knop, blue plate-like, scalloped rim; (b) almost cylindrical stopper curving to the finial consisting of a knop and a rectangular obelisk-shaped top with enclosed "tear"; heavy cutting through the blue overlay, covering body and finial of stopper with a geometric overall-pattern: six-pointed star at base, almonds, medallions, flutes and panels on body and finial.Provenance
