Physical DescriptionTranslucent amethyst, opaque white and opaque medium blue canes, roughly square in cross section, bubbly glass with highly iridescent film over entire surface; mosaic glass technique subsequently lathe-cut and polished. Fragment preserves section of rim and part of body from a large carinated bowl, narrow horizontal rim is highlighted with a relief-cut band on upper surface accentuated with a groove on either side, wall bends down and in to form a broad collar before bending down into the body as far as preserved, the broad collar is accented with relief-cut steps on both interior and exterior at the upper and lower limits of the element.
