Physical DescriptionColorless (grey-green tint) non-lead glass; blown, enameled. Tapered, straight sides with polychrome enamel decoration in a band, of a rounded green mountain, covered with trees, with animal heads poking out from the sides, a bull's head at the top, with a yellow chain and padlock; four grey rivers flow from the base of the mountain, inscribed in white "Mayn/Eger/Nab/ Saal"; inscribed on the reverse in white: "Es wivat der faule hirt offt nach der kuh/ein'n stein, der stein halt mehr an werth/als selbst die Kuh mag seyn/Anno Domini: 1728"; with white and yellow lines and a blue zig-zag band above, with green and white lines below; flat base with rough pontil mark.
