Physical DescriptionClear glass with minute bubbles; pattern-molded and enameled. Rectangular straight-sided body with ribs in the diagonals, and concave base with rough pontil mark, sloping shoulder, joined by half-post method, rounding to metal screw top; on the obverse a gentleman in a yellow coat, on the reverse: "Ohne ein weib zu sein ist mir keine pein." (To be without girl does not cause me any paint); on the narrow sides two multicolored flower and leaf stalks, on the ribs yellow and red dashes, on the shoulder a red and yellow stylized wreath.Provenance
