Physical DescriptionExtremely heavy clear lead glass with a slight gray tinge; blown, with applied and tooled decoration. Flattened ovoid body with concave base having rough pontil mark, sloping shoulder with a short cylindrical neck; the applied decoration consists of shell motifs applied to the obverse and reverse, and arranged in two slightly wavy rows, the upper having eight and the lower having six single motifs, on the narrow sides two wavy snake- like vertical threads connecting to motifs in the upper and lower rows the rib pattern on the shell motifs is molded.Provenance
