Physical DescriptionColorless, presumably lead glass, of gray tinge; blown, cut and engraved. (a) Deep conical bowl tapering to applied standard having octagonal, cut stem spreading to circular foot with beveled scalloped edge, polished base; decoration: at top about 1/6 cm below rim, engraved sprig and oval band (centers of ovals polished), at bottom, cut heart-shaped facets and pointed flat panels. (b) Set-in bell-shaped cover with octagon, cut spire knob; decoration: bands on bowl repeated in smaller scale, sprig and oval at base of bell-dome, panels and heart-facets at top.Provenance
