Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Tapered, straight-sided, cylindrical shape, waisted at the base; engraved border of ovals; engraved oval panel on the sides, with matte frames containing polished circular facets; one panel containing a female bust-length portrait facing sinister, with foliate sprigs inside the frame; another panel with crowned double- headed eagle, with a circular panel on its breast depicting St. George killing the dragon; in the third panel, the crowned interlaced script initials "EP1"; engraved floral sprays scattered around the panels; cut rounded flutes and panel facets at the base of the bowl; conical foot; rough pontil mark.Provenance
