Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Large, straight-sided, round-funnel bowl; engraved matte valance border with polished oval facets; engraved crowned oval panel bearing a bust-length portrait of a woman facing sinister, framed with scrolls, putto at the left, holding a banner bearing a double- headed crowned eagle, at the right, a trophy of arms; on the reverse, a slanted oval bearing the interlaced monogram "EP1", with scroll frame, and a winged putto pointing toward the portrait panel, rococo scrolls with foliage between; the base of the bowl with circular, rounded square, and diamond facets; multiple air beads, in a ring of six encircling one, in the base of the bowl; hollow stem composed of an oval-faceted flattened knop, a cell-faceted flattened knop, and a panel-faceted inverted baluster; trumpet foot; thick pontil wad.Provenance
