Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. (a) Large, round-funnel bowl with cut facets at base; engraved portrait of the Empress Elizabeth in a circular panel, flanked by arrays of flags and arms, with kettle drums below; on the reverse, the Imperial double-headed eagle with the monogram "EP" on its breast; hollow stem composed of a faceted flattened knop above a large faceted ball knop and smaller faceted inverted baluster; folded foot; rough pontil mark; (b) flat cover with engraved foliate wreath; facet-cut hollow finial with ovoid knop at top, a baluster and small ball knop; rough pontil mark.Provenance
