Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved, gilt. Tapered, straight-sided bowl, waisted at the base; panel-cut; gilt rim, engraved coats of arms on one side; house on the other side with inscription "Erlaube gutter Freund, ein Glassgen dir zu schencken, Ich fordere zum Lohn, ein werthes angedencken," faceted ball knop stem; disk foot with faceted rim. (b) Domed form with inset brim; panel-cut; gilt band around the shoulder; panel- and oval-cut knob finial mounted on a merese; rough pontil mark on the inside.Provenance
