Physical DescriptionTransparent green glass with minute and large bubbles and a few impurities; free-blown and enameled. Almost cylindrical, at bottom and top slightly tapering body with pushed up base having rough pontil mark and applied foot ring; enamel decoration: the double headed Empire eagle in bluish-grey and white with red ring halos and blue orb surmounted by crown and scepter, on the wings the multicolored coats of arms of the parts of the Holy Roman Empire, at the end of the wings two flaming symbols beside and on top of the eagles' heads, three lozenge-shaped ornaments of blue and yellow dots; on the reverse: "Dasz Heylige Romische Reich, Mit Sampt seinen Gliedern. ANNO 1687."; accompanied by little stars and dots, dashes on the foot ring, below rim a band consisting of yellow, red and blue stripes accompanied by three rows of white dots.
