Physical DescriptionAqua glass; mold-blown; applied ring around neck; circular depression on base. Obverse: shield with horizontal (upper) and vertical (lower) stripes in background and clasped hands (upper) and oval (lower) superimposed; thirteen stars above and olive (?) branch on each side. Reverse: flying eagle with shield and banner and rectangular frame below. Inscription: "UNION" between stars and shield on obverse and "OLD RYE" in oval; "A. & D.H.C" on eagle's banner and "PITTSBURGH" in frame below. Edges: vertical mold seam.Provenance
