Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut and engraved. Bowl and stem in the form of an inverted cone; bowl with a row of polished circles at rim; engraved around mid-section with two mounted horsemen dueling with swords, a cavalry bottle in the background; the reverse with a large tree in a landscape; stem with air-bead decoration in four levels: eight at top/six bubbles/five bubbles/one bubble at bottom; exterior of the stem with cut concave and convex facets with rounded tops; thick conical foot with cut facets around the base of the stem; top side of the rim of the foot, directly below the dueling scene, inscribed in diamond-point in script: "Rosbach.Fecit. Berlin"; polished pontil mark on the underside of the foot.Provenance
