Physical DescriptionDark bluish-green glass; blown, mold-blown. Flattened elliptical shape; cylindrical neck; plain lip; mold mark on sides; slightly pebbly surface; obverse: profile of man in uniform facing left, inscribed "GEN. TAYLOR NEVER SURRENDERS" above, all within an oval; inscribed "DYOTTVILLE GLASS WORKS PHILADA" above oval; reverse: Washington in a toga facing left, inscribed "THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY" above, all within an oval; circular depression and rough pontil mark on base.
